Queen Glory, herself a product of the Dragonet Prophecy, recognized that lasting peace required more than treaties—it needed a new generation to grow up understanding one another. She chose Jade Mountain for its neutral location, far from any tribal territory, and designed the school to house dragonets from all seven tribes, including the newly revealed NightWings and RainWings.

The school's structure was deliberately subversive: dragonets were sorted into 'winglets' (named after gemstones like Jade, Gold, and Quartz) rather than by tribe, forcing them to work and live with dragons from different backgrounds. The curriculum included history, combat training, and practical skills, but the real lessons came from daily interactions—a SandWing sharing a kill with a MudWing, an IceWing learning to laugh at a RainWing’s joke. The academy quickly became a microcosm of Pyrrhia's tensions, as old prejudices and new alliances played out among the students.

Its most famous class—the Jade Winglet—included Moonwatcher, a NightWing with prophetic powers; Qibli, a SandWing from a troubled family; Winter, an IceWing prince; Kinkajou, a cheerful RainWing; and Turtle, a shy SeaWing. Their adventures, along with the arrival of the enigmatic Darkstalker, would test the academy's ideals and shape the future of Pyrrhia.

The first day of school, and the air on Jade Mountain was thick with tension. A SandWing and an IceWing glared at each other across the dining cave, their tails twitching. A RainWing nervously changed colors, trying to blend in with the stone walls. Then a small NightWing with silver scales stepped forward, her eyes wide. 'I'm Moonwatcher,' she said softly. 'I think... I think we're supposed to be friends.' For a moment, no one moved. Then the RainWing giggled, shifting to bright pink. 'I'm Kinkajou! This is going to be fun!' The IceWing snorted, but the corner of his mouth twitched. And somewhere in the shadows, a dragon with ancient eyes watched, waiting for the right moment to reveal himself.
