Blaze
A SandWing princess whose claim to the throne set Pyrrhia ablaze in a twenty-year war.
Blaze is one of the three daughters of Queen Oasis of the SandWings, each of whom sought the SandWing throne for herself after Oasis was killed by three treasure-hunting humans (called scavengers by dragons) without naming an heir. Blaze's claim to the throne sparked the War of SandWing Succession, a conflict that blazed across most of Pyrrhia for roughly twenty years. The Dragonet Prophecy declared that five dragonets—the Dragonets of Destiny—must choose the rightful SandWing ruler and end the war. Blaze is one of the three candidates for the throne, alongside her cunning sister Blister and her brutal sister Burn.

Lore & Background
Blaze is a SandWing dragon, one of the three daughters of Queen Oasis. After Oasis was killed by three treasure-hunting humans (called scavengers by dragons) without naming an heir, Blaze and her sisters Blister and Burn each scrambled for the throne. This dispute ignited the War of SandWing Succession, a conflict that raged across most of Pyrrhia for nearly twenty years. Eight years into the war, a NightWing named Morrowseer delivered the Dragonet Prophecy, which foretold that after twenty years, five dragonets—the Dragonets of Destiny—would be born and end the war. Throughout arc one, the dragonets—Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny—traveled Pyrrhia, eventually choosing a SandWing named Thorn as queen using the Eye of Onyx, a magical artifact that selects the rightful ruler. Blaze was not chosen.
In Their Own Story
The War of SandWing Succession erupted when Queen Oasis was killed by three treasure-hunting humans (scavengers) without naming an heir. Her three daughters—Blaze, Blister, and Burn—each fought for the throne, dragging most of Pyrrhia into a twenty-year conflict. Eight years in, a NightWing named Morrowseer gave the Dragonet Prophecy, claiming that after twenty years, five dragonets called the Dragonets of Destiny would be born and end the war. The dragonets—Clay the MudWing, Tsunami the SeaWing, Glory the RainWing, Starflight the NightWing, and Sunny the SandWing—were raised in secret by the Talons of Peace. They escaped and journeyed across Pyrrhia, finally ending the war by choosing Thorn as queen with the Eye of Onyx, a magical item that reveals the true ruler. Blaze was not chosen.
