The kingdom is not heavily populated compared to others—MudWings prefer small, scattered sibgroups over crowded cities, each group raising their eggs together in the warm mud. The Mud Palace is built on a raised island in the middle of a vast swamp, accessible only by crossing treacherous mudflats or by air. The Great Diamond, a massive diamond-shaped rock formation, is a sacred site where MudWings hold important ceremonies and hatch their eggs in the nutrient-rich mud, believing the first MudWing eggs were hatched there by the Great Diamond itself.
