Foeslayer was once the NightWing queen, ruling during a time when the skies ran red with IceWing and NightWing blood. In a desperate gamble for peace, she fell in love with an IceWing prince—a union that was meant to melt the frost between their peoples. She bore him a daughter, who would later become the ruthless Queen Battlewinner, but the IceWings, paranoid of NightWing mind-reading and future-sight, saw the alliance as a trap. They lured her into the frozen heart of their palace and murdered her, leaving her body to stain the ice. Her death ignited the NightWings' bitter exile and cemented a hatred that would outlast her bones.

The ice cracked under her claws as she fled, the frozen palace of her love now a tomb. She had trusted the prince, believed in a future where fire and frost could meet. But the IceWing guards were relentless, their spears cold as their hearts. In her final moments, she thought of her hatchling, a promise of a new world that would never come. The snow drank her blood, and the wind carried her name as a curse: Foeslayer, the one who dared to love the enemy. Even now, NightWing storytellers say her ghost still wanders the Ice Kingdom, searching for the hatchling she never got to raise.
