Lore & Background

Queen Wasp was born into a lineage of HiveWing queens, but her rise to power was marked by a ruthless ambition that set her apart. She discovered her ability to control the minds of other HiveWings through a genetic mutation, which she used to consolidate her rule and eliminate any opposition. Under her leadership, the HiveWings conquered the SilkWings and LeafWings, forcing the SilkWings into servitude and driving the LeafWings into hiding. Wasp's paranoia led her to create the 'othermind,' a parasitic plant that could control dragons, which she planned to use to dominate all of Pantala and eventually Pyrrhia.

In Their Own Story

The throne room of the HiveWing palace was silent, save for the hum of Wasp's thoughts. She sat on her obsidian throne, her yellow eyes scanning the minds of her subjects like a spider weaving its web. A SilkWing servant trembled as she passed, and Wasp smiled, savoring the fear. 'You think of escape,' she whispered, and the servant froze, her mind suddenly blank. Wasp laughed, a cold, hollow sound. 'There is no escape from me.'
