Turtle is the son of King Coral and one of her many SeaWing princes, but he has always preferred to stay out of the spotlight. Unlike his more ambitious siblings, he finds comfort in reading, inventing, and avoiding conflict. His ability to blend in and appear unremarkable becomes his greatest asset when he is entrusted with a powerful enchanted object—the scroll of Darkstalker's spells. Turtle's arc explores themes of self-worth, as he learns that being overlooked doesn't mean being unimportant, and that true heroism often comes from unexpected places.

His relationships with other characters are central to his growth. He forms a close bond with Kinkajou, a RainWing dragonet whose cheerful optimism inspires him to step out of his shell. Turtle also interacts with the enigmatic Animus dragon, Darkstalker, whose manipulation tests his resolve. Through his journey, Turtle proves that courage isn't about being the loudest or strongest, but about making the right choices when it matters most.
